Abstract
The research aims to improve the motor functions of hip joint in patients of osteoarthritis (stiffness) of the hip joint through the application of rehabilitation exercises and to identify their effect on the muscular strength of the muscles working on the hip joint, the range of motion and the degree of balance of the hip joint and reducing the degree of pain. The researchers used the experimental approach due to its suitability to the nature of the research, using the experimental design of one group to which rehabilitation exercises are applied. The research sample of 20 individuals were selected by the intentional method and included men who suffer from osteoarthritis of the hip joint, and their ages range from 40-55 years. The experiment was applied in Sehaty center for injuries and rehabilitation in El Beheira Governorate and the rehabilitation exercises were applied on separate individuals during the period from 10/7/2021 to 9/10/2021. They also concluded that the rehabilitation exercise program relieves the feeling of pain in the joint affected by stiffness. The researchers recommended the use of rehabilitation exercises to improve muscle strength, range of motion and balance and reduce pain. The researchers also recommended Conducting more research on osteoarthritis (stiffness) of the hip joint and the use of other types of rehabilitation methods, application of this program in rehabilitation and physical therapy centers, and conducting more research on women.
